
CLIENT & STAFF SERVICE AGREEMENT
(Terms, Service Scope, Confidentiality & Membership Conditions)
1. PARTIES
This Agreement is between:

Bayside Property Guardians (“BPG”, “we”, “our”, or “us”)
and
The Client / Member (“you”, “your”)
By signing this Agreement, you acknowledge and accept the terms outlined below.
2. SERVICE PURPOSE
Bayside Property Guardians provides a property protection, emergency response, and concierge-style coordination service designed to help protect residential properties and provide peace of mind.
Our role is to act as your first response and trusted coordinator when property issues arise.
3. BPG PLATINUM CARE – SERVICE SCOPE
Your membership may include (depending on selected package):

24/7 emergency response attendance

Nightly security patrols and property checks
-
Initial hazard assessment and safety stabilisation
-
Coordination of licensed plumbers, electricians, builders, and other trades
-
Annual property inspection and maintenance reporting
-
Optional add-on services such as empty home monitoring, panic button response, bin service, and enhanced patrols
How Emergency Response Works
When an emergency occurs, BPG will:

Attend promptly to assess the situation
-
Make the area safe where reasonably possible
-
Take steps to reduce immediate risk or damage
-
Arrange qualified trades where specialist works are required
-
Coordinate and oversee attendance on your behalf
Think of BPG as roadside assistance for your home.
4. IMPORTANT SERVICE LIMITATIONS
To ensure clear expectations:
BPG is not:

A building contractor or renovation company
-
A repair service providing unlimited labour
-
An insurer or guarantor against damage or loss
-
Responsible for structural rebuilding or major repairs
Membership fees cover emergency response and coordination — not the cost of repairs, materials, or major works, which are quoted separately by licensed contractors.
5. TRADES & THIRD-PARTY CONTRACTORS
Where specialist work is required:

BPG may arrange trusted licensed professionals.

All trade work contracts are between the client and the contractor.

Repair costs are separate from membership fees.
-
BPG coordinates and oversees works but does not warrant third-party pricing or outcomes.
6. MEMBERSHIP, DISCOUNTS & FLEXIBILITY
Membership Options

Standard monthly membership

12-month commitment paid monthly (10% discount)

12 months paid in advance (20% discount)
Cancellation & Flexibility
-
Members may opt in or out at any time.

No lock-in contracts or cancellation penalties.

If a prepaid annual membership is cancelled early, the unused balance will be refunded.
7. MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE
BPG provides a 100% money-back guarantee, giving clients confidence to join without risk, subject to reasonable service usage and compliance with this agreement.
8. RESPONSE TIMES
BPG aims to provide rapid response (including target call-out times where advertised).
Response times may vary due to traffic, weather, safety risks, or events outside reasonable control.
9. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
You agree to:

Provide accurate contact and property information

Maintain appropriate property insurance
-
Ensure safe access to the property when required
-
Follow recommendations provided after incidents or inspections
10. CONFIDENTIALITY & PRIVACY
BPG acknowledges that we may become aware of confidential information relating to your property, security arrangements, personal circumstances, and affairs.
We agree that:

All client information is treated as strictly confidential.

Property details, security arrangements, travel plans, and personal affairs will not be disclosed except where required to provide services or by law.

Information is shared only with authorised staff or contractors where necessary.

Staff and contractors are bound by confidentiality obligations.
Confidentiality continues after membership ends.
11. PRIVACY
Personal information is collected and handled in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws and our Privacy Policy.
We do not sell or trade client information.
12. LIABILITY LIMITATION
To the extent permitted by law:

BPG is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses.

BPG does not guarantee prevention of theft, damage, or criminal activity.
-
Liability is limited to the value of membership fees paid during the relevant period.
Nothing excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law.
13. ACCESS TO PROPERTY
By engaging BPG, you authorise BPG personnel and approved contractors to access your property as reasonably required to provide services.
14. CHANGES TO SERVICES OR TERMS
BPG may reasonably update service offerings or terms from time to time. Updated versions will be made available to clients.
15. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
16. TRUST STATEMENT
Your privacy and security are paramount. All property details, access information, and personal affairs are handled with discretion and professionalism.
